I just realized that I have been running my 144hz monitor 

at 60hz since day one (4months?)

Goddamn it. 

It was because I was using an HDMI cable instead of a display port. I was under the WRONG impression about which cables had the highest bandwidth FAACCKKK.

Maybe CS:GO will seem different?
